Salesforce NPSP end of sale: what to do now
There's no NPSP end of sale. Salesforce says NPSP "will continue to be supported", and it isn't on Salesforce's retirements list. What did change: no new features since March 2023, and since December 2025 new orgs don't get NPSP preconfigured. You don't have to move. Plan, don't panic.
What Salesforce actually says
- "NPSP is used by thousands of organizations and will continue to be supported."1
- For new customers, Salesforce recommends Nonprofit Cloud.1
- New development moved to Nonprofit Cloud in March 2023; NPSP support continues.2
- Since December 2025, NPSP isn't offered preconfigured in new production orgs. It's still a free package you can install.3
- NPSP isn't listed on Salesforce's Active Product & Feature Retirements page (updated Oct 16, 2026).4

Has Salesforce announced an NPSP end of sale?
No. Salesforce says NPSP 'will continue to be supported', and NPSP isn't on Salesforce's active product retirements list (updated Oct 16, 2026).14
Can new nonprofits still get NPSP?
Not preconfigured. Since December 2025, NPSP is no longer offered as a preconfigured package in new production orgs. It is a free package you can still install.3
Does NPSP still get new features?
No. Salesforce launched the new Nonprofit Cloud in March 2023 as the home for new development and said it would maintain support for NPSP.2
