Is Salesforce NPSP going away?
Not as of October 2026. Salesforce says NPSP will continue to be supported and hasn't announced an end-of-life date. But Salesforce stopped building new NPSP features in March 2023, when it launched the new Nonprofit Cloud, and since December 2025 new production orgs no longer come with NPSP preconfigured. Existing NPSP orgs keep working.
What's confirmed about NPSP, question by question
Is Salesforce NPSP still supported in 2026?
Yes. Salesforce says NPSP 'will continue to be supported', and existing NPSP orgs keep their licenses and support.12
Is Salesforce adding new features to NPSP?
No. NPSP has had no new features since March 2023. On March 14, 2023 Salesforce launched the new Nonprofit Cloud as the home for new development and said it would maintain support for NPSP.345
Has Salesforce announced an NPSP end-of-life date?
No. No end-of-life or end-of-sale date has been announced, and there is no forced migration.42
Can new nonprofits still get NPSP through Power of Us?
Not preconfigured. As of December 2025, NPSP is no longer offered as a preconfigured package in new production orgs. New Power of Us orgs choose 10 Agentforce Nonprofit or 10 Sales & Service licenses, and can still install NPSP themselves on Sales & Service.642
Can I upgrade NPSP to Agentforce Nonprofit in place?
No. Agentforce Nonprofit (formerly Nonprofit Cloud) uses a different data model, so moving usually means re-implementing in a new org.5
About the date: one Salesforce partner (Cloud for Good) writes that Salesforce announced 'the end of innovation for NPSP in 2024'. We couldn't find a Salesforce statement dated 2024. Salesforce's own March 14, 2023 announcement and independent coverage both point to March 2023, so that's the date we use.234
